I am a 30-year paralegal and this firm was referred to me to possibly represent my wife in a wage-hour claim against a school district, as I do not have expertise in litigating such claims against a public sector employer, like I do in the private sector. I contacted the firm over three months ago, with a summary of potential claims I discovered when we applied for her retirement benefits. After a ...

Stewart & Musell made all the difference in my wrongful termination case. From the very start they were respectful and compassionate where other prospective firms, to say the least, were not. They heeded my input, and I heeded theirs, and together we settled the matter for more than 10 times the original “nuisance value” offer. My rights would have been worth almost nothing without their experience and savvy. I would recommend Stewart & Musell to anyone who finds themselves in an unjust employment situation.

Elisa has tremendous litigation skills, is extremely dedicated with integrity to match. Elisa walked us through the whole (at times overwhelming) process with much patience and understanding. She answered our questions on weekends and no matter how trivial, always with our best interests at heart. This firm is definitely not intimidated by the size of the agency they are suing.

Wendy Musell, of Stewart and Musell in San Francisco, is an outstanding and distinguished attorney. She is forthright, principled and highly skilled. Ms. Musell was unwavering and relentless in pursuit of equity and justice for me. She was totally committed to my case, in command of every aspect and detail, and she will not be intimidated. She completely understands employment troubles that everyday working people face, and knows exactly how to proceed and address them.

It is obvious that she believes in the work she does. If you are require serious, first class legal representation regarding employment and civil right issues, I would recommend to you, in the strongest possible terms, to call Wendy Musell. She is a brilliant attorney and one of the finest people you will ever meet. I feel fortunate and proud to have had Wendy Musell as my attorney.

When I considered pursuing my case, I spoke with several law firms. None approached my situation with the professionalism and understanding of Stewart and Musell, LLP. While other firms seemed most interested in whether winning my case would be a “sure thing,” Stewart and Musell, LLP seemed to value the ethical importance of confronting discrimination.

Ms. Stewart confronted an intimidating establishment on my behalf and did so with authority. Throughout my case, there was constant communication. I knew I could always reach someone when needed. I was pleased with how I was treated, how my experiences were legitimized, how my case was fought, and with the outcome. Highly recommended!

I have nothing but praise for Stewart & Musell. Their mastery of the law was a welcome friend. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for expert care, diligence, and real world experience. At no point did I ever doubt their ability or feel ill at ease. They are an excellent firm of world class lawyers.

When inequality and hostility immobilize you at your workplace you need professional help. I found myself in that position, alone, afraid and uncertain of how to proceed. I contacted LAMBDA and they gave me the name of Elisa Stewart. From that point forward, my life turned for the better. From 3,000 miles away this woman came here to protect and defend my rights, like the Calvary. She provided me with the courage to stand and fight and had the experience necessary to do so.

And, she had compassion for her client, almost unheard of today. They say bigger is better, but I watched a small, personal firm take on one of the largest employment firms in my area with conviction, determination and success. Thank you just doesn't seem sufficient enough to express the appreciation I have for Ms. Stewart and her firm. When you need someone to believe in you, to help you, look for Ms. Stewart and her firm to be the one. You won't be disappointed.
