The Only Vinaigrette Ratio You Need
Three parts oil, one part acid, a little mustard and salt. Memorise it and never buy dressing again.
By Dana Musell

Bottled dressing is one of the easiest things to leave at the shop. A proper vinaigrette takes ninety seconds.
The ratio
Three parts oil to one part acid is your anchor. Adjust to taste from there.
The emulsifier
A small spoon of mustard helps it come together and stay together.
Shake it in a jar, taste, and correct. That is the whole skill.
